Baby Boomer Drum

Our Baby Boomer is a 4-tongue hardwood tongue drum made with the same craftsmanship and care as all of our wooden toys.

This beautiful percussion instrument is made with a handsome piece of hardwood on the top of a soundbox.

The hardwood top has four "tongues" of different lengths, each of which produces different tones when struck. And produce different tones when struck at different points on the tongue as well. This drum makes a very soothing sound, unlike the harsh sound of most drums and drum kits. The wooden soundbox creates a warm, mellow xylophone-like sound.

This is the perfect gift for kids and adults who like rhythm.

Rubber stoppers, mounted on the bottom of the Baby Boomer, isolate the vibration and make the sound more pronounced.

Why is it called a "Baby Boomer"?
Because it is slightly smaller than our Boomer tongue drum which is made with 6 tongues.
