Worm Puzzle

 This puzzle is made from a single, rectangular block of wood.  A simple puzzle that is challenging to solve.

Scramble the pieces and then try and put them back into a solid block.  

Knowing where to start, is a great start. Looking for corner and edge pieces, looking for clues in the grain of the wood, trial and error. Getting the orientation of the pieces correct.

There are a lot of things you learn by putting this puzzle back together: strategy and meta-strategy in problem-solving.

It's almost as fun to watch someone try and solve this as it is to solve it yourself.

This is great for anyone who loves puzzles as an office present or stocking stuffer.

Why is it called a Worm Puzzle?

Because when the pieces are spread out they look a bit like worms.
