Both sizes are made from premium kiln-dried pine and finished with raw linseed oil, one of the only finishes considered safe for both humans and small animals. Solid pine construction means no flimsy plywood; these feeders are sturdy, long-lasting, and able to withstand daily nibbles.
Each feeder includes mounting fasteners on the back to securely attach to wire grids or metal pens for stability and safety.
